Porch and Siding
The porch that runs along the south wall of the house was started. It is going to be a long one!

Mike put up some of my painted siding so he could permanently attach the electric meter in prep for the electricians who are coming this week. It was great to see the siding up on the house. The color is Cotton Gray by Behr even though I am using a Sherwin Williams solid stain called Woodscapes. It shows as a nice neutral gray and should look fine with the charcoal metal roof. Eventually the windows will get trimmed in white.

An advertisement for our plumbers. They are doing a great job hooking up the radiant heat this week and doing all the rough-in plumbing.

The pipe for the furnace that runs up to the roof. It will be hidden in a closet in one of the small bedrooms.

In the meantime I am painting everyday that I can. The weather has been challenging: cold and windy. I had no idea how windy our property was going to be. I love the wind but it has been challenging anchoring everything down as I try to stain my boards. I have gone through about 12 gallons of stain so far and no end in sight!
